About Alexandros Samaras
Hey there,
EuroFounders is a personal project I work on in my own time. It is built on years of experience, study, and direct exposure to how founders build businesses across Europe. I started it because this reality is still poorly understood.
I’m Alexandros Samaras, the person behind EuroFounders. I studied European politics at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Later, I completed an MBA in the United States at La Salle University.
Over time, I have worked closely with founders and early teams. I have also spent significant time around entrepreneurial and investment circles, particularly in the U.S. This has given me a comparative perspective on Europe that is often missing from mainstream discussions.
I started EuroFounders because building a business in Europe is more complex than it appears. Rules, funding structures, incentives, and market realities differ widely across countries. Much of the available advice is generic or disconnected from how Europe actually works.
Through EuroFounders, I try to make this complexity clearer. I do this without hype, pressure, or hidden agendas. I write and share ideas because this space is underexplored and because I believe there is real value in experience, clarity, and long term thinking.
If this helps you think more clearly about building in Europe, then the project is doing what it is meant to do.
